Our EDM Notch Cutter prototype has been completed and tested.
Due to sporadic demand, we will not finalize the product until one
is ordered and a 50% down payment is made. The price for the
first unit will be reduced to $28,000 with a lead time of 6 months.
Subsequent units will be available with a shorter delivery time, but
the price will have to go up, so order now!

We have begun work on a Chinese language mirror site. It
is not quite complete yet, but can be viewed at NT Corin Chinese.
We hope our Chinese customers will find this site helpful.

After four months, we finally got listed on Google and Yahoo! It usually takes two months or less, but they apparently missed us on their last pass. Almost every other search engine has already added this page, but Google and Yahoo are used by so many people that it is very important to be listed there.
People not familiar with the workings of the search engines are often curious about how a page gets added to
their databases. There are four main methods, three of which are free.
Yahoo is one of the better known engines, and has some unique methods. Yahoo's internal database contains only
entries which have been added by human beings working at Yahoo. Web page authors submit their web site for consideration,
and each submission is evaluated by a Yahoo worker. If the site meets their criteria, it is added to the database.
This method results in a database full of things that people at Yahoo consider to be interesting - hopefully you
are interested in the same things!
As a backup method, if Yahoo cannot find what you are searching for, it uses Google's database. A lot of search
sites actually use Google's databases, so getting listed with Google is very important. Google uses automated "web
crawlers" to find new sites. A human is not involved, so virtually every page the crawlers find will be added.
The crawler is a program running on Google's computers that looks at every page in its database and updates existing
pages or adds any new pages to which it finds links.
Method 1: Pay Yahoo (and some of the other search engines) to list your site. This is the fastest way.
Method 2: Submit your site to Yahoo for free and hope it meets their criteria.
Method 3: Submit your site to Google for free - they claim that this rarely speeds things up.
Method 4: Get a page which is already listed in various search sites to link to your site. The next time the web
crawlers update the existing page, they will find your new site because of the link. This is how NT Corin was added,
and it works for many different search engines.
There are many web sites which offer to get your site listed for a fee. Some of these are legitimate and some are
not - Google's web site has some tips about choosing such a company. If you have a web site you would like to get
listed on the search engines and you are not happy with the other options, MKSystems
will link to your site for $50.00 (U.S.), and you will be added to most of the search engines within two to four
months.
